In this project involved a physics sports video. We picked a sport and talked about the physics behind a sports motion. We also had to come up with ways to make the sport easier to play or do. My group picked the skip shot, where a water polo player throws the ball at an angle into the water so that the shot goes up after the ball hits the water. Sebastian took videos of the shot at his practices and we added in the math portion to make our video (above). I hope you enjoy the music. I picked it!
One good thing I did was work on my attitude towards my team members. I was supportive of my team's ideas. I had fun editing the video. I learned a lot more about special effects, especially fading in and out music and slides. I need to work on collaboration with my group. I still like doing everything by myself and I need to work on sharing my ideas.
Math Terms.
Velocity. V= change in d/change in t
Momentum. P=MV
Acceleration. A=change in v/change in t
Force. F=MA
Horizontal and vertical velocity. Pythagorean theorem
